Easy Breezy

I picked up this dress earlier in the summer after I spotted it on Jacey (apparently I wasn't the only one-Molly told me last week that she did as well!) and proceeded to wear it entirely too much. I'd normally shy away from white-I'm a magnet for spills when I wear it-but the versatility of this dress was too perfect to pass up. It's fully lined (I can't tell you how many times I've returned or not purchased white pieces because they're too sheer) and works with just about everything in my closet. I can't wait to pair it with tights & a blazer when it gets colder!

On a sadder note, this dress was inside out on my floor recently when I went to light a candle. The match didn't want to light at first, then splintered and broke just as it did, landing on the dress! Thankfully, I put it out before it burned through both layers, and the fact that it's lined was about the only thing that saved me. I've become so attached to the dress I spent nearly an hour trying to find it online, to no avail! Ah, well, at least it's not completely ruined.

Pickwick & Weller

I stumbled across the up & coming t-shirt company Pickwick & Weller a few months back (co-founded by fellow Iowan Ashton Kutchter!) and decided it was time I tried out a new brand for my t-shirt addiction needs (evidence: my first-ever outfit post here). I placed an order that week and proceeded to live in my shirt for much of the next few weeks, so it's a little surprising it hasn't made it onto the blog til now!

Not only is the T super soft & made right here in the USA, but Pickwick & Weller's customer service is downright incredible. My shirt arrived in cute, easy to recycle packaging, I received an email followup a few days later & had lots of easygoing interaction with their employees via Twitter and Instagram (I first wore it here). I cannot recommend them enough & they've gained a loyal customer who has plans to stock up on several of their styles!

Bonus: free shipping & 20% off orders for new customers when you sign up for emails!

I know I kept the T pretty covered up-it was freezing out when we took these pictures a few weeks back!

Thanks for taking my pictures, Jessica!
